Today I stumbled upon a style trend right here in the This Morning office!

We don’t have all that many men gracing the corridors here at This Morning – but those that we do have are going crazy for checks – and don’t they look lovely.

Chris Saville, Tom Melia and Luke Shelley

We snapped features assistant producers Chris Saville and Tom Melia and multimedia producer Luke Shelley all rocking the summer check look.

Chris got his number from asos.com, Tom went for a slightly more expensive version with his Ted Baker shirt and Luke wears a shirt from TKMaxx.

So following their lead I have trawled the high street to bring you the best of the summer check look for men. Here are my favourites:

Check shirts

1. Light blue check shirt: Tesco, £10
This great little shirt is an absolute steal at £10 – get yourself down to your nearest Tesco now before they all sell out.

2. Pink and blue check shirt: Topman, £36
If you like to make a statement why not opt for something a bit more colourful – great for the summer season.

3. Red and blue hooded check shirt: Topman, £30
This check shirt has a hood detail which gives it a slightly younger and more casual feel – perfect for lazy Sundays in the pub.

4. Navy check shirt: Criminal, House of Fraser, £27.30
Bag yourself a bargain! This is a great sale steal – should have been £39 but now down to just £27.30 in the sale.
